hi guys, first time for a while on here, but have a funny problem. When im driving my saxo vtr 1999 normally the car runs like a dream, no overheating, no lumpy engine, revs are perfect, when i hit a motorway and im driving at 70mph constantly thick white smoke appears out of my exhaust ,lots of it, until i dip the clutch in and bring it back up and it disappears. the car performance is not affected at all, but the smoke if left is like a fog behind me, like my car is blowing up. recently there is a warning light on my car dashboard, its orange and looks like an upside down 7 which flashes for 10 seconds but disappears and it isnt always on.only sometimes at start up. The water is at the perfect level, oil is at the perfect level. i recently fitted a 1.1 gearbox with a new clutch and was wondering if this could have something to do with it. thank you!!!
weird smoke, car runs fine?

#2the gearbox and clucth will play no role in this,
seems weird though if its not loosing water or anything

#4Sure its coming out the exhaust? Rev it in neutral what happens

#5Sounds like headgasket issue to me, burning off coolant. Long shot here but I'd check your your master cylinder and the pipe coming off it to the inlet for brake fluid. If fluid gets into the inlet it will cause white smoke.
