GTI Loom query

    I have a JP4 engine in my three plug VTR. With the JP4 being single plug I needed to splice the loom to fit into my VTR. I've got a friend with a GTI loom which I can have, but will it be the same as if I had a VTS loom?

    With the VTS loom I had planned to splice it onto my VTR multi-plug (behind the headlight) so it would run. But with me having a GTI loom, could I just use this instead of having to buy a VTS one?

    Hopefully you understand what I mean.

    The GTi loom is pretty much teh same as the VTS loom, except it has two multiplugs instead of one. only other difference is them taking their power direct from the alt-battery charge circuit instead of from the fusebox.

    Wont make any difference to you though as youll be chopping and splicing the main multiplug.
