Routing induction kit

   I am thinking of buying a green open air filter and piping and hoses. Basically going to route the induction kit to the bottom right hand side of the engine bay. My question is will it decrease in performance as the air has to travel from the bottom right of the bay all the way to the inlet ?

   air is air....Distance travelled wont make any difference. But temp will. The cooler it is the better within reason. sounds like a mega faf tbh....

   why does it sound like a faff? I was looking into routing it this way so it does not soak warm heat from the engine bay.

   It will be an ok idea. Make sure the piping isn't metal as metal is the worst for heat soak and minimise bends for faster air flow.
