Benefits of JP4 cam covers?

    Are there any, apart from the seals probably being ok?

    Breather for both cams + replacement seals over instagasget.

    i had to seal mine with both as they leaked...

    sealed fine on the engine I put them on lol

    how did u work the breathers? i mean they are a pain to attach anythin to, i jus have ran my engine with no pipes on the breathers and jus left them alone. smells a bit and u get a bit of oil n smoke bein chucked out but i couldnt get anythin to attach onto them.

    It's easy, either cut the end off of the y pipe and run a hose over this into a catch tank, or as some have done run a pipe off each to a double inlet tank.

    I tried the pipe off each option and they kinked comin off the breathers. There also wasnt enough room to bend the top breather cos the bottom breather pipe was in the way. I didnt think lettin them vent to atmosphere is a problem anyway so couldnt b arsed in the end. was just wonderin if there was an easier option, as i dont see the point in the effort when you can just let them be anyway.

    Jp4 are plastic.

    J4 are metal.
