super saxo

right i have been thinking 2 myself a lot recently (mainly cuz im bored at work an no1 2 tlk 2 lol)... right people have put pug 405 mi16 lumps into pug 106's in the past correct? so im thinking if its possible (due 2 pug gti lump same as vts lump) to fit it into a saxo? anyone?
  2. #2
If it fits into a 106 im 99% sure it would fit in a saxo!
  3. #3
this is very good news..... as my m8 has a spare 1 lying around tuned 2 bout 170 bhp i belive an hes a very good mate so il get a awesome price furio mi16 sounds nice

    any1 else got any ideas?
  4. #4
cant have been 'tuned' that much seeing as they have 160 as standard. same story as the 306 engines, imo no point as the extra weight, cost of custom bits plus shoddy handling would negate any performance gains. mildy tuned vts would be just as fast.

naa way extra weight my arse... u ever been in a pug 205 with a mi16 on a 1.6 gear box? the acceleration rapes a vts its held its own against a few decent motors
  6. #6
he mains the extra weight ruins the handling as it would be front heavy, great on acceleration just not the best at corners, look at 2 litre corsa's and novas.

driven two, not saying they aren't quick but they handle like shite. same with the valved novas/corsas. the money is better spent else where and i'd rather not hack fuck out of engine bay thanks.

i still think its well worth it!

You are a jockey... i have a 205 with a wide arch dimma kit which theoretically should even furtherly decrease the handling due to the not so aero dynamic arches... but the handling of mine is good... soo good i can take a roundabout going straight over at 70mph.. it only just understeers a fraction.. and im on pretty much stock suspension with uprated dampers.. its rigid as fuck and holds the road fine.. and i have raped every single saxo that has ever raced me.. not that many take on the challenege because its quite obvious theres no point in racing me in a 1.6 no matter whats been done to it. If you say you have driven two... and the handling is crap i suggest you re think your thread and edit it so that people understand what you are saying... you blow at driving...

205Turbo why are you even on this site?

    Sean knows his shit

If its got a wide arch, then im guessin wheels will have spacers on, therefore the car is wider, would that not help for better handling?

And you do realise your ment to go around the round about, not straight over?

:  ha ha ha ha

yate5y how right you are, wide arch kit = spacers, tomake it look good = wheels set wider apart = MUCH better handling. :Y:

Yawn from you again mate, same as your last thread has this 205 not got something like 300bhp? No 1.6 can beat you, not even a 297bhp vts? Thats lighter than you (ax shell) and has same power? Physics tells me your wrong

Standard suspension lol, theres some roundabouts that can be taken at 100+ mph but thats because they are big round abouts.

    Built the supra yet?

gti and vts are the same engine just diffrent rocker cover and maybe a coulpe of odd bits thats it
  17. #17
So why are gti's faster than vts's??
  18. #18
they arent? same car same engine, if anything the gti is slightly heavier
  19. #19
cant remember who it was but a company done tests on both the cars and the gti came out 5bhp more than vts? are there any different models?

eres a couple of pics i cud find of his 205 all i got sorry

  22. #22
hold on though, first you say your mate has a spare 170bhp engine, then you say you'll have his engine when it drops out of his 205. but didn't he say his engine had 300bhp? sniff sniff....

well what a jockey you are! it's because of people like you that there's accidents and that insurance goes up for younger more sensible drivers. Also the reason most people havent tried to race you is because its dangerous you knob cheese! Coming on here and insulting members who have been on this site for so long I ought to kick your lily ass!!!
