bigger injectors?

   hiya guys i have a mk2 vtr i have a cam and port and polished head. i need to get more fuel in but someone rold me its not worth re-mapping as it will loose bhp but gain me more mph which i couldnt understand :O anyone know of which bigger injectors i can use from another car that will be an easy fit cheers

   Whoever told you to get bigger injectors instead of a remap needs a slap.
   
   Gain less bhp but more mph? wtf.
   
   Just get it remapped mate, standard injectors should be fine.

   You need to shoot your mate in the face.
   
   You won't benefit from bigger injectors as with those mod's there is no need to be putting that amount of fuel through.

   Unless you were turbo-ing it I would say yes add the injectors along with fuel pump etc..
   
   But maping with the cams should give you a nice mid-range torque gain

   you dont need a bigger fuel pump or bigger injectors. Just get the remap. The ECU will be where control of the fuelling will be adjusted.

    i have got newman ph3 cam.. yea i think i will be gettin a remap guys. is it worth changing the Fuel Preesure Regulator? what does a mk2 vtr FPR run at standard?

    Nope the regulator will be fine. Remap and time the cam up on the rollers. Your onto a winner.

    You should get a Venier pulley to get the most of the cam afaik. If your gonna get a map its better to have the cam setup to the manufactures stated timing to get the most from it.

    I have a kam racing pulley I bought few months back. Will let it go for 45 posted. Bear in mind I paid over 80 for it.
