Basically what the title says, its coming from the back left off the car (f/o) took it to a garage, they greased the car up, bu said they don't have a clue what is causing it... is there a common fault with saxo's that cause the rear to squeak? cheers

Could well be the arb has moved on its splines there is a way of getting it back in place i'll see if i can find it

EDIT:- here you go try this http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...ght=arb+squeak

would the arb also cause a loud clunking noise?

could very well be the axel or the torsion bar. my mates 106 did that majorly and my saxo does it on the front right which could just suggest that its the suspension

Could be the arb end plate, they have a single bolt holding them in place which is prone to shearing, it could cause a clunk

M8 (13mm) bolt about 30mm long iirc for end plate, hanged are if the old one has snapped then you'll need to drill it out and maybe re tap the thread as well

and another question, is it easy to do? is it just as simple as, bolt in, bolt out. also is there a good guide on here, as the only one i found is awful with a single picture!
