#6belts/pump seals etc
how bad is it, isita splutter etc, and are your running it in properly? -
#7Every thing in the engine is new but not pistons and crankshaft it’s not to bad just not as nippy as the VTR engine I had in lol might it be the timing, thought the vts was a faster engine lol it picks up in second gear just not first gear ?Quote:belts/pump seals etc

how do you run it in properly? i was told to go through the gears quickly and drive around in 4 and 5

#8Have you sorted your inlet leak yet? That won't be helping.

#10Ah gotcha. If you're still running it in, I'd give it some time and see if it improves. Not sure what the correct procedure is for running in, but I think most people drive it hard for a few hundred miles, then change the oil.

#11some say drive it hard and some say dont lol so iwill just take my time for a bitQuote:Ah gotcha. If you're still running it in, I'd give it some time and see if it improves. #12update took the exhaust manifold of today to put the new o2 sensor in and the old 1 was not tight I could take it off with my fingers I gave it a clean as it was black, went for a drive runs a bit better but when you put it in reverse it still cuts out ? Light has not come on for fuel bank 1 yet, what could it be. Going to get the new sensor for the front manifold as they gave me the wrong 1 lol so it still could be the old sensor needing a better clean with some solvent.
