Important! : HELP please :(

   i have a PHASE 1 saxo VTR.
   When i brought it the power steering, heater blowers and rear window de-mister do NOT work at all.
   Ive seen a thread before which it explains its fixable via soldering a wire together or something under the steering coumn?
   
   Does this work and if so could someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, direct me a link or point me in right direction what to do, oreven explain how to fix it themself?
   
   HELP will be much appreciated as need this fixed a.s.a.p!
