lol. you cant use 'nuts and bolts' on exhausts. The joint is a tensioned joint to allow movement of the exhaust when accelerating etc. I gues a nut and bolt would just strip the threads?

If this is for the Supersprint, use the two springs you remove from the standard manifold and go to a fasteners place for the M10 bolts. Simples.

Pop down to a local garage or quick fit or something... i'm sure they'll either give you... or sell the bolts for a few quid.

fuck the springs, you dont need them, ive been using just 2 nuts and bolts with a washer either side of the bracket for 2 years and have had no dramas.

That'll be fine until your manifold snaps in half

you say that, untill your join splits.
you DO need the correct kit, for movement in the exhaust sytem, and engine.

You do needsprings . they were invented for a reason .

I would rather new springs this way the springs would have more tension .

you use correct kit or get a flexible coupling ,which will be more expensive
