No power and the management light is on

   Plodding along on the duel carriage way and sunddenly my car doesnt want to increase speed and the mangement light os flashing
   Also idle is rough. Any ideas?

   Sounds like the car has gone into limp home mode,you need to get it plugged into a diagnostics machine mate.

   Ok bud . Would you know what would cause it to go into limp mode?

   When my saxo did it it was a burnt out valve(not saying yours is)it could be something simple like a faulty sensor or coil pack.The ecu goes into lhm to prevent any damage to the engine.

   Would it be safe to drive then? Im getting it plugged tomoz . I have a spare cat in the shed so that might be handy.

   I've got a reader here (Guildford) if you're not too far away. Saves forking out for someone else to do it.

   Thanks for the replys ive just drove it back home from guildford and it drove fine but the management light is flashing. Grrrr

   Flashing is baaaaad. Shame, I wish I'd mentioned it earlier. Could had a Two Tone meet up + I'm bored stiff at the moment.

    Ah that would of been good i think theres another two tone owner on here from guildford even better! Got rac out , scanned it came back as multiple missfire . So coilpack . Least i know what it is now . He turned the light off so gonna change it tomoz
