What kind of exhaust pipe is this?

   'race tube' it does away with the middle box. goes between cat and back box

   Looks like a Magnex Tube to me, They have the Slip on fittings for the Back gox etc.

   Ahh ok, So when people buy for example a sportex centre section, and its in 2 parts, this is the part that goes into the back box?

   But to answer your question, yeah. The decat will attach to one end, back box the other.

    thats not a complete centre section is it?
    
    looks like the second(rear) half of a mk2 centre section to me, could be wrong though.
    
    if it was mk1 cat back centre pipe it would be longer i think.

    plus it would have an olive joint not sleeved as the rear of a standard cat wont bolt to that

    I was just thinking that, never seen a decat that doesn't have a olive joint

    its not a decat is it? it goes
    manifold - Cat - (silencer or the tube above) then the back box, the back box should only be a magnex that will fit.
    i took mine off the other day.
    
    then if you have this and you wanted to de cat your saxo you would only need the bit to join the manifold to the racing tube.
