Yellow stuff pads (EBC)

  1. #1
Mate uses them on his 670 bhp gtst but i was just wondering if anyone have used them on the road and on track?

Or do they not get enough heat into them on the road?
  2. #2
Heard good things about them, think its what i may go for next when pads need changing.

I find they bite like an OEM pad on the road and are very consistent on track. Perfectly fine for a daily driver. Highly recommended.
  4. #4
Yeah think ill give them a try
  5. #5
i fitted them to the clio and i think they are fantastic pads

bite from cold is really good and once warm are even better

not to sure how they are on a saxo though

    They're really good.

Had them in the wilwoods on the old saxo, and have them all round on the bimmer. A bit wooden when cold, but it's not as hard to get them warm as people claim, once hot they're great - and it's pretty much impossible (from experience) to overheat them.

greenstuff should be re named brown stuff.... because they are shit on and off the track!

the only skids marks they produce run down their reputation

I used green red and yellow on my Metro vtec track car a few years back...

    Green= toss....didnt even last a full day.
Red= ok on track but not great for me as Im hard on the brakes
Yellow= Great on track, didnt really fade at all but shocking on the road for me.

Ran Ferodo DS2500 on my Teg and they are the best Ive ever used.
I did 5 track days on the same set and never had any trouble at all.

Arent the reds supposed to be the most track focussed of them all?
I remember your metro from metropower by the way, caribbean blue wasnt it?

They are supposed to be but O personally found them not that great.
Think the yellows are like an enduro race pad.

They are what they are IMO, ok cheap and cheerful.

Ive just bought some performance friction for my Wilwoods as that is what my Dad runs and they're great plus only £50.

It was a greeny/blue colour....think it was caribbean but couldnt honestly tell you!! lol.... Im colour blind by the way!
