bosch or NGK for plugs

I'm hearing various views on whether to use NGK or bosch super 4's

Has anybody actually tried both and noticed any difference?

    Ngk every time.

Bosch super 4's can be fine but they either run in your car no problems or they don't. I seen a hell of a lot of running issues caused by them at work with bad idle flat spots in the rev range.

Nothing wrong with ngk plugs they are good quality and produce a good spark.

Saxo's mate, Like I said your car either likes them or it doesn't no way of knowing until you use them.

    NGK Iridiums are bloody good.

I had super 4s before feels more torquey lower down but runs out of steam in higher revs iridiums are much smoother through the rev range and much better from 4k onwards. Also idle with the super 4s is a bit iffy.

Get what you pay for though the Iridiums are quite a bit more than the super 4s last time I bought some. I wouldn't get any other plugs after using them not worth saving like 20 quid or how much over god knows how many thousaunds of miles!

NGK, Well known, be around for years and great rep.

I don't believe in these plugs that fire 4 sparks per plug. Unless its a uber high performance car, i don't think its worth it for a Saxo :-/

NGK BKR6EZ are the only ones I'd use, they MUST be resistive, for noise reasons, and they MUST be the correct temperature (6) and shape/style.

That's the ones i've ordered so will get them fitted when they arrive and see if things improve.

Always use Bosch FR7DC+ in mine. Car runs really well, returns good mpg, is quick and passes an MOT with no cat.
