Best manifold for Saxsport system

   Im gettin a saxport zorst at the end of this month, but not sure what the best manifold is to go with this...
   
   Also, would buying a second hand one with carbon around the manifold make it pop better as its sorta been worn in?

   Providing its a 4-1 or 4-2-1 manifold and you fit a decat pipe it will pop like fuck. Id personally fit a janspeed but they are quite expensive . Saxsport exhausts do sound really nice lol. Second hand manifolds should really be inspected as they can be sold cracked. Especially cheaper manifolds. bonus if you can get a visual look to check condition.

   Cheers, I think the saxsport I am getting has a Dummy cat (decat) so should be good... Do u recommend anywhere to get manifolds new? Not so keen on getting second hand now lol!

   that's strange.
   
   Im Sure fitting a mani and a Decat alters the lambda reading, making your car over fuel, hence pops etc.
   
   To the op, kamracing stock some very good manifolds. Personal experience I recommend them.
   
   Also it may be Worth wrapping the mani in heat wrap. Fairly cheap to do and looks better in the bay as the mani,s tend to go an ugly colour. Also helps keep heat down in the bay. Just a thought.

   ive got a raceland 4-1 which decats my vtr, with the supersprint 2" un-silenced race system.
   
   Pops like a fucker. i love it.
   
   MPG has decreased since fitting tho, i like the noise pedal to much :/

    I have had a saxsport on a vtr amd vts and it sounded good on a vtr and amazing on a vts! Had a miltek with sports catmon vtr and standard manifold on vts.

    Thanks for these replies.. its given me something to think about for January... I am thinking a supersprint/Janspeed mani with my Saxsport... should be poppin down the duallyyy

    Its a 2000 reg, phase 2 but not sure if its cat in mani or under car... think its under car.

    i got a piper mani n decat n back box with supersprint mid sections and my god its a match made in hell pop bangs n snarls reminds me of the ascari a10 lol

    haha fair play I wanna saxsport tho.. theyre quite rare not many people seem to have them... or at least wanna sell them Might be a bad sign that theyre either crap and no one is buyin them or saxsport exhausts are the way forward and once you got one... no one will wanna sell lol!

    Do you know what manifold it would be? I know the newer engines will be quite expensive for them but the older ones are slightly cheaper... im not sure!

    If they are the same quality as the other exhausts the manufacturer makes then they are nothing to shout about.
    They make ok power but quality of welding and materials is average. I sell the Pugsport (made by same company) and its a mid range system for quality.

    Okay I will check out the site tonight... Also, I need some uprated rear shocks as mine are on their way out... I looked at Kamracing Website and there was an error... what shocks do u sell?

    I have a saxsport race system on my vts and Have a raceland 4-2-1 manifold. Pops like mad!
    Love it. Best exhaust for a Saxo in my opinion

    I have a saxsport system (race) and a standard vts mani with decat and it's raspy on high rev but a nice deep sound on low rev range until you hit 4500 rpm and then you can't even hear yourself think and it's pops nice but my mpg is shit I'm getting 190 miles to a full tank (£60)
