   hiya guys i have my m.o.t next month so coming up fast iv been told that it would fail due to no gaitor cap its not the gaitor on the drivers side its just behind the air filter and down abit? not to sure what this is called i have uploaded a pic of my engine size and model and have marked it with a red arrow????

   I dont think they will fail you but its worth getting a cap if you can.

   steering rack gaitor? if its split, it should fail

   just to say they are a proper c**t to fit if you dont have the proper tool

    Take the inlet manifold off to get access to it, took me and my father 8 hours in total to replace the bastard thing

    would have been quicker to drop the engine, then fit it lol
