ecu needs unlocking.

   Hi. anyone in northyorks or near unlock ECUs?
   
   I've got a 1.4 Furio with VTS engine. engine and interior loom which we have just fitted and also with the key for the VTS ECU but its being a C*nt. think ECU has locked it self? i dont know myself. on verge of throwing a match to it!
   
   Keeps flashing key symbol on dash while turning the key. havnt ha the bugger started yet.

   Yer you locked it, you have left your immo plugged in. See sam_16v's guide.

   yepp :/ i downloaded lexia 3 but keep getting told that i will need the lexia dianostic tool rather then any other cable not sure

   Can someone tell me how one goes about ending up locking your ECU, i think i may have done this myself

   You leave a immoboliser in that does not match your ECU. Eg a engine change etc...

    Having problems getting my saxo to start and this was one of the things in my head but havent used the wrong immobiliser so hoping that it isnt the case now lol. Cheers and sorry for hijacking the thread!
