Cams much diffrence?

    Is there much diffrence between the cat cams 708's & newman ph3's? In a months time or so my vts is being cammed just dont kno what to go for out them 2? Also is there anything else i need to change? to be on the safe side? Cheers guys.

    The difference is negligable. Have you considered the new catcams profile out? 743 iirc Its basically a updated 708, there was a thread on them a few days ago.
    Id change cambelt, tensioners and waterpump while i was at it

    I seen the thread about them yeh... i havnt long had all that done so no need to atm really i was thinking more like lifters etc? where can you find them new cams?

    The lad that posted about them works for pug performance so try them, or pm him on here

    Tom my house mate works for pug1off

    And the 743's were made to replace the 708's so no more parts are needed to fit them ie don't need to change lifters
