Basicly my mates ax with vts engine is reving about 4k on idle. The engine was fine in his 106, taken it out and put into a ax. Now its reving high? All that is different is the looms, any ideas? Maybe a split in the loom somwere?

#2Throttle cable set up properly? Failing that theres got to be an air leak somewhere
-
#3No air leak, no throttle cable stuck, For some reason the air is sucking out the icv is really load, then revs high, replaced that, its fine... 5 mins laer it done the same thing to a new icv??

#4When you say the only different things the loom what looms he got now?
And what ecu is it -
#5Basicly, he had a 106 with this vts engine in, took the engine out and bought another spliced loom to fit an ax. Same ecu (standard) Same everything apart from loom but in an ax, maybe asplit in the loom somewere could cause a problem like this?
