#2Pay an extra fiver tbh.

#3Quite simply, yes.

#4Unless you know them really well, I doubt you will find a 'friendly' MOT tester.
I take it you have a straight through system as opposed to a decat pipe?
If so, the only other option is to get a standard CAT and centre section
I made sure I kept my original exhaust so I can swap them back come MOT time! -
#5i brought the car like and when i brought it i asked if he had the original one but he sold it. he actually knew a mot tester so he was ok for thatQuote:Unless you know them really well, I doubt you will find a 'friendly' MOT tester.

#7buy/borrow standard item for the test, no point failing over something you know will be a fail
-
#8You either gotta find one who will risk thier MOT licence for you or buy a standard system with a CATQuote:i brought the car like and when i brought it i asked if he had the original one but he sold it. he actually knew a mot tester so he was ok for that
Could get a 2nd hand one and sell it on for nearly the same price afterwards or just stick it in the loft/shed for next year.
