i'm sure their is a few people on here who as got a de-cat exhaust like myself but what do you do when it comes to the MOT? mine is due very soon and i dont have the original exhaust as its stainless all the way threw? do i just offer the MOT tester £20 for his back packet and not to say anything about it lol

Unless you know them really well, I doubt you will find a 'friendly' MOT tester.

I take it you have a straight through system as opposed to a decat pipe?

If so, the only other option is to get a standard CAT and centre section

I made sure I kept my original exhaust so I can swap them back come MOT time!

buy/borrow standard item for the test, no point failing over something you know will be a fail

You either gotta find one who will risk thier MOT licence for you or buy a standard system with a CAT

Could get a 2nd hand one and sell it on for nearly the same price afterwards or just stick it in the loft/shed for next year.
