#2easy now ali g.
firt off all you need is the engine as long as you get an egine running off the same plus ecu as urs, loom should work, gear box is fine, you need the engine, throttle body etc. but its just plug and play as long as the ecu plugs match. however you will also need the ecu for the vtr. so if your furio is single plug, get single plug ecu.
makes it rappid bro, proppa sick

#3its a 3 plug ecu i think...Quote:easy now ali g.

lol
drop a vtr lump in and ya know its gotta get remapped lol
yeah thank you ahaha cheers fella

#4whats the point in remapping and standard vtr engine?
-
#6How quick is "quick"?
The money is better spent elsewhere unless you have a lot of engine modifications that will require a remap to get it running correctly -
#7why not? because there is no benefit, there nothing different from as it was to start with. If you had cams fitted etc then yeah remap but don't see any advantage in getting it done on a standard car
-
#9do other mods before remap mate. inductiion, exhaust, get all the cheapest stuff done 1st. weight reduction too. then think about a remap, gains would be better than as itl go of the other mods, if you map then put other mods on result wouldnt be the same. but for the price of a map then get it cammed instead.

#10all i know its got a 4.2.1 mani and straight pipe all the way through and remapped and pipercross with ram air feedQuote:why not? because there is no benefit, there nothing different from as it was to start with. cheers for that bro, i already have a full peco system and a induction kit, ready for the vtr lump, i like the idea of getting it cammed too hmmm
lol

#13so its been remapped twice? must be rapid lol, honestly....don't bother remapping unless youve had cams fitted at least, be waste of money and time!
-
#14Id recommend an xsi/rallye head with J cam. Its cheaper than fitting buying a fitting an equivalent spec (270 degree) cam plus you get a better flowing head with hard valve springs

#15ahaha i see the mistake lolQuote:so its been remapped twice? must be rapid lol, honestly....don't bother remapping unless youve had cams fitted at least, be waste of money and time!
cheers for the advice i think i wont bother with the remap til i have spent some money on the engine first
