Creaking from front end? driveshafts?

   I've got a bit of a creak when i put the car onto or near full lock.
   
   kind of like a spring uncoiling or a clicking sounds which i cant work out what it is...
   
   Driveshafts have been replaced both sides within 1000 miles, and a full -35mm apex kit put on a week later after the drive shafts.
   
   I cant believe the shafts would have gone again... Any one got any ideas?

   Upper Strut Bearings?

   Check its not fouling anything first as you say its on full lock - mine fouls ever so slightly on full lock with 205 gti wheels fitted and 195/50 tyres and the apex 35mms

   strut top bearings x3. mine does it occasionaly

   is it just a case of changing the top mounts then?
   
   are they easy to do yourself?

   Yes but its a strut off job and you'll need a spring compressor

   I was having the same kind of creaking, got told it was strut bearings, got them done at a garage and it was fine when i got it back.
