    I have a 1.4 and I want to cam it and I know your all going to say that it's pointless and to drop a VTS lump in and everything but I carnt with my insurance and my points.

    So anyways:
    What cams would u say to use and where would be able to get it done.
    Had a quote of £980 for it doing

    Get a vtr lump if your worried.. Look the same to the normal person.

    True but my engine only done 50,000 and no problems leaks or owt

    Up to you mate, i and prob 98% of people on here just wouldnt see the point on camming a 1.4.

    there is no point in camming a 1.4, you still wont be as quick as a vtr

    just wait till you can afford a better car, youll probs get loads of grief for not declaring the mods off the sax-police soon

    Oki well if I put a 1.6 VTR engine I then, anyone know some one that will cam and remap it

    Well if you can change a engine i assume you know how to take a cambelt off and change the cam itself? If not them people like mandyslover70 , Krisb can do the magic with spanners dont think they do remaps though.

    ts not even worth camming a vtr mate, just put a vtr in if you really want to do soething, then wait till your insurance comes down

    i payed £420 for a good condit VTS 120hp you want to cam a furio for 900 quid... ROFL all i gotta say, i say you want power buy a bigger car

    £420 thats alot.. Mine was like £250 49k miles gates cambelt and metal headgasket..

    Like my saxo tho, and plus got a custom manifold for my 8v so might as well get myself a 8v engine

    Plus to put a Vts in mine I would need to change the loom..
    And my 1.4 loom would run a VTR wunt it
