   never seen an NFY, NFU and NFX are the 2 usually seen. is the NFY a 16v?

   i have an nfy engine here and cant find any data on it

   NFY is a 1600 XSi / Rallye engine I think

   looks like ben may be on the ball! so its an 8 valve 1.6 as opposed to a 16V

   Hmm that data sheet says 100 bhp 8v in a 106, the only 1600 8v 106s were the rallye and xsi engines werent they? I thought they were basically the same engine in those two, only the xsi might have had domed pistons and put out 105 bhp if I remember rightly, the rallye 103?
