Cleaned throttle body now runs like a tank

    Hey guys so I cleaned my throttle body to see if it would curey dodgy idle problems, but it hasnt now whem I start the car it runs like a tank , if I accelerate a little its ok if I dont it cuts out, once heat up its fine need a little help any guides would also be useful I have read a lot of posts on here but none seem to fix mine lol

    Search for ICV or idle control valve - it will probably just need a clean then it should be ok

    I think it may need to be resynced, there is a guide somewhere.

    iirc its ignition on and off six times in a row, without starting the car?

    Turn the key so you hear the fuel pump primt but don't start the car
    Ignition off
    Repeat x5 (may not always hear the pump prime_
    then start

    Failing that remove it and refit it again to ensure everything is done up correctly, also check all the sensors around the throttle body so make sure they are all attached.

    ye i saw that guide but its the ohter guide that is linked to on that page id have to use, but theres no pics on it, would be handy if there was lol
