   good right hypothetical question for you b16a2 engine with box if inserting into either EG/EK civic or del sol that didn't have the b16 but the d15 is it or the d14? engine mounts do they need changing? or is it just bolt it and sort wiring?

   Right at the top of my head I'm gonna say it needs the b16 mounts, as I'm sure the d14/15 engines are obviously smaller therefore are more in the middle of the engine bay,therefore need longer mounts. and b16 being bigger would have smaller engine mounts, but I'm not 100% positive, if you wait till tommorow I can try and find it out for you.

   EGs and EKs came with B16 engines? I cant see them producing different shells to accomodate different mounts, more cost there, then producing different mounts when they can just use the same shells throughout the range and same mounts. Maybe wrong though.
   
   One way to check is engine mount part codes for D15 engine and the B16 engine, see if theyre the same.

   I'm sure the chassis is the same, but I'm not so sure the actual engine/gearbox mounts are the same. And yea that's what I was going to do

   Got a question bout a honda as well.A mate is rebuilding his engine (b16A2) and we are stuck with the rod and main crank bearings there's something like a color code or something for them.We found that ACL bearings has 3 sizes for them how are we supposed to know which one we should get?

   ok well check for us had a word with a guy who knows his hondas and he said its supposed to be 1 mount that needs sorting

   Had this problem with my vts, there was a colour on the big end cap, then I had to measure it for sizes. As Citroen reckon there's 9 different sizes. So yea I would say you would have to take them out and look for markings, then measure them up

    I'll check all the part numbers for the mounts for the b16 ad d14/15 engines. Which shape you after? Ek or eg? Or you want both?

    the mounts from the 1.3 up to 1.8 honda engines are all the same and the engines are interchangable between all the civics and tegs up until the start of the EP3 and DC5!
