Magnex back box

    Mornin. After getting my vtr yesterday I have decided to take off the magnex back box, sell it and get a quieter 1.

    So 2 questions really

    What would sound better than a standard box but not make my ears bleed when driving ( also I've got a piper x viper to put on)

    And finally how much do they go for second hand ( my exhaust that is)

    A magnex isnt loud iirc and have a look on YouTube mate plenty of exhaust vids on there

    magnex are pretty quiet.... certainly a lot quieter than saxsport or suspersprint

    keep the magnex.

    Go back to standard if the noise is annoying mate.

    I had a custom exhaust which sounded pretty similar to the magnex, and it was relatively quiet i thought unless you were giving it some.

    all non-standard exhausts have an annoying drone at certain revs though, especially when cruising on the M-way.

    Magnex are one of the best.

    Great build quality from the later produced ones. They're quiet when cruising, but on full throttle when you want noise, there you have it. They don't sound chavtastic and give a nice tone. I would have a magnex over anything else.

    However, if thats too loud for you then put a standard on.

    janspeed is really quiet too. Also i had a 3 inch inward rolled scorpion once and that was quiet as anything aswell

    As said, Magnex are fairly quiet.

    My mate had one on his 106 and it sounded normal most of the time unless he really booted it.

    Oh and lol at Mike Tyson trying to get a fight.

    This lad gets hero status quality introduction.

    Are you running a centre section? I'm very surprised you believe the magnex is noisy? With a centre section its a tad louder than standard. If you put anything else on its going to be louder pretty much. I'd confirm the centre section situation first though

    Pmsl @hero status. I ain't come on here as Rocky I was after some sound advice. As far as I can see mate it's standard all the way down till the back box. It has got a piper cross cone on which would add to the noise bur its to droney and loud if u know what I mean
