Rude Guy answers phone (Predator ECU)

    Hi, would just like to say that i've had my VTS cammed running unmapped with some 708's for some time now. I was interested in buying a predator ecu as i've saved some money over Christmas & as i plan on possibly buying ITB's as some point so its ideal as i won't be paying to remap standard one again. Anyway.... to cut to the chase i read this post below on here & although its very old the guy who answered the phone hung up on me mid sentence. Quite rude i think seen as i may well have been a customer. If any1 on here could give me some advice as to whether or not these are sold anymore as i have e-mailed Andy Ruffell on the Predator ECU website & never got a reply



    We can supply and fit 708's, and also produce the predator ECU, which can be fitted and mapped to suit.

    PS> There is an error on this thread, you DO NOT idle the cams to bed them in, each manufacturer has there specific ways. for instance PH3's are 20min @ 2250 RPM.

    Makes no sense to me, if you tried to explain it like that I'm not surprised he hung up on you

    Andy isn't called "ruffell" either

    So the phone cut off mid sentence, and the only possible explanation is that the guy did it on purpose

    Andy could be a great guy but business is business.

    Reply to customers if you want their business, or maybe he's getting too much.

    I found John at GMC to be a bit rude also, i would rather spend more money with some one else.

    You have to be curteous all the time and nice to your customers, make them feel welcome and return their calls, listen to their issues and try and help. Minute you dont, thats what you get judged on, it's business, suck it up and provide some quality customer care/experience.

    Yeah, reading this back to myself i suppose you are right. I must have been trying to rant too much whilst typing!

    i think i get the jist of what you were going at but it was quite hard to read lol
