saxo automatic

   hiya to all
   
   new to the saxo world and i have a 1.6 automatic and am having problems already......
   
   when at top of first gear and into second it shakes the car, like the gears are slipping.
   
   been told that there is movement in the ns driveshaft by the garage that had it on friday but they couldnt fault it otherwise and think im making it up.
   
   open to any suggestions

   Probably best to take it to the garage mate, it does sound like it could be a driveshaft.
   
   It could be the gearbox? Probably better to get it checked and save yourself some £££

   I`ve got the same model saxo mate,1st things to check are the gearbox fluid level(when warm)& colour of the fluid which should be a pinky/red colour.

   Ahhh very good point! It's a sort of whining noise when the fluid is low isn't it?
