Saxo VTS Single Plug - Chipped ?

   Hi guys not sure if anyone can be of assistance but picked up my vts today and previous owner claimed the car had been chipped, having looked at the ecu today i found this small plate attached to the side of the ecu has anybody got an idea what this might be ?
