Hi folks, I've just purchased an old fan and rad from a 1.1 saxo. The fan motor was a little stiff but has freed up slightly now but the outside of the motor and frame is rusty and I want to get it in the blasting cabinet to clean it up and so I want to get the fan blade off the motor spindle. I've removed the clip and have sprayed on some wd40 and apllied some heat on the fan blade but still dosen't want to budge. I've left it alone so the wd40 can seep in. Is there anything else I need to do or is it just a case of patience and wd40?
How to remove a fan blades off the fan motor?

#4Cheers for the reply guys, I think I'll end up buying a new fan and bracket as the old one is just too rusty. It's going in a mini clubman so It'll be fine for just now while I'm fitting it.
