Right I need to sell the Saxo as soon as possible to get a deposit together for a house but it still not running, it's a 3 plug VTS which has had a single plug "crossover" loom fitted to run a single plug ECU, the main plug has been rewired by pug1off to match the existing interior loom, but the car will still not start...

The engine tuns over and the fuel pumps primes but it gets no further, I have virtually no mechanical knowledge so I'm completely stumped at the moment therefore I need someone who knows more than I do to come over and try and diagnose the problems.

I live near Bicester, so ideally after someone in Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire, I will pay for your time and fuel! Just really need it running to get it sold!

    Cheers

are you getting the injectors firing or the coilpack firing?

If not it does sound like a locked ecu.

I've had the car for a couple of years now but it's not been running for a year or so now as I've not really had anytime to work on it

It is possible to lock an ecu again accidentally. I think it happens if you don't disconnect the transponder thing
