Hello, id appreciate it if you could help me with wiring my lighter.
The fuse is fine etc, however im having trouble actually wiring in the new lighter as the relevant wires are all connected in this plastic housing >>> (see the picture in post 5 on this link. Apologies, I do not know how to upload photos) http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=274272
I was wondering whether it would be possible to cut the wires before they reach the plastic housing, and then wire and insulate the live and the earth to the correct part of the lighter. Im not bothered about the LED, I just want the thing to work so I can use my satnav.
