I want to turbo my VTS but just missed out on a cheap VTS turbo kit, would a vtr turbo kit fit or would i have issues? i though a turbo was a turbo but maybe not. Thanks, Loui
Is there difference between a turbo kit for a VTR and a VTS

#2One thing different will be the manifold.1 user thanked this post:

#3Nice one, Thanks! Would i need a modified sump too? There is a modified saxo turbo sump on ebay cheap at the moment and a 16v turbo inlet manifold from the same seller, iv offered him for both of them anyway. I thought it was game over when that VTS turbo kit sold but now i am excited again if the inlet manifold is the only difference.

#4Oh shit, inlet or outlet?

#5exhaust. standard inlet should be fine for low boost

#6You will need a modified sump yes, or modify yours. Either way it needs a return fitting welding in the appropriate place. Standard inlet will be fine unless you are going big boost. Exhaust manifold will be different between a vtr and vts turbo kit.Quote:Nice one, Thanks! Would i need a modified sump too?
