cat con and lamda sensor bust

   just been driving home and my lamda sensor has rusted off my catalytic convertor pipe, 2 weeks before mot and tax due, brill.
   just ordered a reconned replacment with full lamda plug of eghey. are they resonably easy to take old one off and fit new one? will it change the run of my engine in any way.
   oh its a 2003 1.1 desire by the way.

   What's the brand of the plug you bought?
   
   If its anything other than Bosch, chances are your engine will run poorer than before.
