    It's Newman's that say Sportcam on them. So i'd imagine they are PH3's. Which are similar to 708's. Have a look at these pics to verify. http://www.axoc.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtop...&view=previous

    i have the newman ph3 cam on my vtr. let me know what u think the gain is, if a lot, as mine had them in when i bought my saxo. higher revs seem more powerful and more torque like than i imagined standard engine would have

    And fish the engine isnt in my car yet its currently getting rebuilt. but i have heard you dont get the most of them until you have had them mapped on a rolling road
    without mapping they make about 5/10 (i think) and once remapped they make 20 at least. from my research that what ive gathered. but info is only as good as the source

    i tried putting the cams in the head today but they dont sit flush . the shiney cylinders are in the way

    those are the hydraulic bucket tappets, some of the valves will be open when you the bolt the cam carrier down, its normal for them to sit above the journals when simply placed on top.

    so ive just got to clamp it down with the bit that goes over the cams?
