1.1 Improvements

  1. #1
i have a little 1.1 and was wondering if there was anything that would make any difference to performance without increasing the fuel consumption too much?
i know it would probably be easier to just get a new car but i wanna stick with this one for a bit longer

ive just bought some VTR bumpers, wheel arches etc have got lexus lights on the back and looking at angels for the front, have glossed most of the exteriour trims, just waiting on the rain to stop to finish them
i have done some little detail bits to the inside, like carbon fibre around my key pad but nothing major
    gti leathers would be awesome!

Id spend the £160 on this and also get a decat pipe if your cat is underneath.

Then just leave the car completely alone.

Cat back exhaust or an airfilter would cost you £300 and do fuck all.

This should up the power about 5bhp if you decat and make it quicker than other 1,1s

Besides this, you might want to spend some money on interior/exterior parts like others said, but seriously don't try to tune it.

Remove lexus lights, replace standard paper filter with a panel aftermarket such as K&N or Green and leave it alone. Nothing else will make a difference. A regular service and good fuel will be best for performance and be still good on fuel.
