   hey need some advise on a powerflow 50 exhust system , are they any good ?

   mint system mates, sound amazing. local powerflow dealer near me and you can even tell them how you want it to sound and they can do anything you want. awesome systems !

   They get a bad rep on here, a lot is down to the fabrication and fitment though which differs branch to branch.
   My own opinion is cant see why anyone would fit one when systems with proven gains and quality are so cheap

   I had a powerflow backbox and centre pipe and the sound was awful.

    Nope. Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.
    
    Having seen various poorflow systems with bad welding, bad pipe bends and generally piss poor materials.

    i agree powerflow are not the best but not the worst, it all depends on budget for a exhaust

    Id rather have an oem system than a pooflow..
    
    And theyre not that cheap tbh..! for the money a pooflow cat back would cost new you could easily pick up a second hand supersprint on here with a race tube B pipe and backbox.
    
    You could even nudge into the BTB cat back money for some pooflow prices..

    PowerBlow are wank, whoever thinks an exhaust system that sounds like your full on shitting yourself actually sounds good needs their ears checking

    Too many people just generalising here. Due to the fact Powerflow is a franchise, quality varies so much throughout the branches. There are a few great ones around, but some are frankly awful. Depending on what you want from your exhaust system you're probably better off buying an off the shelf system. Hope this has helped! I realise however you're less likely to listen to me than about 8 other people haha.

    I had a Powerflow system it was crap sounds turd also.
    
    Would never get another one and also very expensive brand new.
