Gear box???

    Just got my car home thanks to a mate. Give my car a bit in 2nd it jumped out of gear now when I put it in any gear the car don't move and the noise gets londer the higher the gear I put it in. Has my box gone BOOM!!! Haha

    sounds like youve stripped the diff

    reverse to first is bad..

    theres also a gearbox section

    Haha. They are quiet straight foreword mate think there only 5 bolts holding the gear box in lol

    just check you havent snapped a sahft first..id imagine its the diff tbf but it is possible...

    Iv never done one befor so it should be fun haha. I think it a 1.1 box aswell coz the gears go on for ever

    They are the most basic gearbox I've probably done u going to put a clutch in it whilst The box is out

    1.1 box is short, not long. Will be vtr box if anything.

    Is this right, my gear box code matchs up with a 106/saxo 1.5 diesel gear box?? My code is 072945920CB98. Can anyone just double check for me it would be a great help
