What injectors? help from the fueling gods.

Hi guys, starting to order all the parts for a turbo build.

Unsure on my injectors choice though, i was thinking pico 491cc/min from atspeed - but dunno if these will overfuel for what im looking at, or what..

    the spec i will be going is (some unessesaries to mention for the purpous of this thread in there..);

    DP manifold and downpipe
GT25R From a ford focus RS
    front mount intercooler (6 core)
    obviously the piping.
DP engineering de-comp plate ratio of 9:5:1
    bailys dv
    usual other bits.

AND a 3-plug predator ECU, to manage it all.

Looking to run MINimum 225bhp @the wheels.

    Thanks guys..

Is it a vtr or a vts?

Megane RS injectors. 165 quid from world of parts brand new. Fit direct into the vts rail, shower pattern and about 390cc or there abouts. Much better than the picos.

Edited, they are 390cc, but awesome spray pattern.

    Jones its a VTS.

E8 - is this what you run?

On my vts I'm running Clio sport injectors which also fit straight on. There 300cc so not as big as the megane sport injectors, but still capable of over 200bhp at 3bar and about 270bhp at 4bar, and I also picked all 4 of mine up for £40 2nd hand

I was going to use them, but I bought another car already complete and mapped with the picos. Many tuners use the megane ones though and are said to be very good.

I fitted them though, and they were perfect

I always thought Clio sport injectors were 220cc.

    I'd be using 490cc personally

People say different cc ratings between the Clio sport injectors ranging from 250cc - 330cc, but I'm know for a fact there good up to 210bhp at 3bar

To the op, I would be going for the megane rs injectors if I was you, I would have gone for these too if I knew they were a straight fit at the time

The 490's are a good wad of cash, (£340 or so) Which dosent bother me.. but, its getting the bang for buck, because if im wanting to run anything over 280 bhp, i WILL Be forging my engine.

Got shedloads of forged parts for ibiza cupra that i need to shift, that will get me my predator and shit lol.

I will look at the megane injectors, are they definetly enough for the job?

My mate runs 440cc injectors on a 310bhp car at 3bar fpr, so 490cc should see 330-340bhp ok at the same pressure. as for the 390cc injectors, they should be ok for around 270bhp at 3bar

That's them, and will flow 450cc at 4 bar.

Well... ive found a set of used ones for £80 ^_^ might just get them lol

Why at people so defensive about money? 340 is a lot, damned if I'd spend that much for injectors. That's the good thing about popular cars like Saxo's, parts always come up for sale regularly.
