Wobbly gearstick

   Hey guys,
   Ive recently bought a VTR that im currently doing some work on.
   Noticed that where the arm goes into the gearbox has play on the inside of the gearbox
   Im guessing this means i need another gearbox for it (preferbly one without so much play)
   
   Haven't had a Saxo before so its all new to me a bit

   could just be the linkage. or maybe the synchro worn and not locking the input/output shafts properly. Dont leap straight in with a full gearbox change might be something not so major

   hmm,
   Thanks for the reply.
   Well the linkage is shot anyway but i wasn't too sure you could replace the linkage/bush that went inside the gearbox.

   Mines like that, I replaced all the linkages with uprated ones and even replaced the rest of the linkage system including the roll pin and selector rod etc. Even after there there is still some play, nowhere near as bad so im just going to leave it.

   Might just replace the linkages/bushes at weekend see where im at and if its still the same or not.
   
   But i was giving it a wiggle and half of the problem is where the arm is worn inside the gearbox
