#3ECU is locked. do you have the original ignition and keys? or are you using the furio ones?
-
#4Should of searched first
-
#5I'm terrified that he's done an engine swap!
-
#6That's a really low mileage, as said locked ecu.
-
#7Spuddy seems a bit of a Spud unit. Lol.
Did you remove the Immobiliser box under the passenger side of the Dash?
Remove that, send your ecu off to be Unlocked.. Usually costs around £50. -
#8Right, the VTS ecu that come with the engine came unlocked an it come with ignition key and immobilers, I have tried putting the ignition am key in and put that immobiliser in but still no luck
Why are u terrified I have out an engine in :/??? -
#9Its because you didnt unplug your immo, nothing you can do now until you get it unlocked or get a unlocked one.
-
#10I did unplug my original immoboliser before I put the VTS engine in
-
#11You change the barrel before you tryed to start it?
-
#12No mate. All I have done is
Taken original immobiliser off
Fitted engine
Had look spliced
Put loom in
Tried to start it, didn't work
Put VTS immoboliser in, black key aerial, and tried with my original key and the orange key an box came up flashing -
#13You locked it then dude, the immo is programmed to the original cars key. As you tryed to start it with your cars key, it has got a different code and the ECU thinks its been nicked so its locked.
-
#14I haven't tried to start it with my original key with the immo box in, I tried to start it with my key with immo box out. Then as that didn't work I put immo box in, took original black key aerial box out, put the VTS one in and say the VTS key in it and tried to start it with my key
-
#15Well it locked maybe it was not unlocked when you got it.
-
#16So it's defiantly locked?
If I put 3 plug ecu into my other furio put immobiliser and key aerial in too, then when engine is running unplug immo wil that unlock the ecu? -
#17What put the VTS ECU on your furio and start it?
-
#18Yes, pug1off company that I sent my wirin loom off to, said put my immo key aerial and ecu into furio and while it's running unplug immo
Or he might of said, 'while ignition is on, unplug ecu' -
#19Right i know why it wont start its been spliced citreon changed the immo wires when they went to 3 plug ECU's, weather they did that for you at Pug1off best ask Tom5190 as he 90% done it
-
#20Yeh they said something about that mate....
-
#21Thats it then you need it unlocked or a unlocked one being as its a 3 plug VTS ECU you will have a magneti marelli iaw.48p ECU?
-
#22Bastard, yeh something like that, pug1off said I can put it in furio if it's the same ecu make and unlock it..
-
#23Will it work?
-
#24No unless they have changed the immo wiring you have no way of unlocking the S ECU.
-
#25It's a 51reg 1.4 with big multi plug
-
#26Dude your giving me a headache if you got a spare car thats 3 pin use all the VTS stuff inc key barrel immo and ecu turn on 2 click then unplug immo should work.
-
#27Sound thats all I wanted to know
-
#28Ha sweet
-
#29How much do u unlock ecu for?
-
#30Just to let u know, I managed to unlock the ecu
-
#31Ended up putting everything into my furio and turned ignition on
-
#32Op's a retard
-
#33Take it it worked after the ECU was unlocked?
-
#34yes mate, everythin is fine now mate.

-
#47No not at all mate, they said they enjoy it, but would rather if you didnt do it so late at night but early in the morning at around 2am. They said they wanted to be warned with random noises like what Donny out the wild thronberrys makes.
-
#48Ok mate no worries i will cut down your springs for you aswell to last coil if you want? Will be down about 140mm.
