Important! : mk1 manifold wont fit! help!!!!!!!

   right peeps i bought a 421 manifold off someone on here got the standard manifold off with ease! but then i hit a big problem the new one wont fit properly meaning most of the exhaust nuts wont go on as the thread part is at an angle and so on! i dont get why its so hard to fit a this as its a straight swap? help!!!!!

   Put both manifolds together and see if they match..

   4-2-1 manifolds can be tricky to fit, usually at least one stud needs cutting down and the nuts need to go on in a certain order just takes a bit of thinking sometimes, its hard to explain without being there to show you

   ok cheers mate, so theres a certain way to put the studs in then!

   The studs should be fitted first, then manifold and then bolts.. As he said you may need to drill a hole or two bigger

   Shit manifold got the same on mine, not worth the trouble tbh. I had to leave one of the nuts off because theres no chane of fitting it
