Important! : please help any advice would be great

   Hi can any one help, I was out in my Saxo vtr pulled away and heard what sounded like metal snapping then when i got in the car this morning and started it there is like a droning noise when ticking over and statinary and the car is vibrating but the car drives and handles fine. i was thinking exhaust or engine mount???

   vibrating usually means engine mount, not really a lot people can suggest just go look a tthe mounts? faily easy to tell if ones snapped

   Open your bonnet mate & 1 sure fire way of telling if its a mount is if the engine is sat on the piss,ie dropped on 1 side.

   i was half way through writing this, but rudpud had a buggered miunt that was vibrating the engine badly and it held uo for months without eh engine dropping lol
   
   but yea when my upper g/box mount snapped it was lower on the passenger side, can also do a rock test, rock the car forwards and backwards on the clutch and see how much the engine moves

   its your engine mount mate the one near the top cam belt i had that problem it causes the car to vibrate like a bitch but i discovered mine had broken then i took the gearbox out and pulled the gearbox and the engine came with it lol

   my engine mount snapped when doing a clutch change as well.. lol
