Quick shifts

    Does anybody know if there is a difference in the gear lever and ball joint etc on the mk1 compared to the mark 2? as i have seen a quick shift on ebay that states its for a mk1 but i don't think there is any difference apart from the actual knob on the end? i have a mark 2 btw. heres the link:

    Dont see why it wouldnt fit tbh, the boxes are the same and so are most other things lol

    no difference in the gear sticks at all

    haha cheers guys ive cut my spare gear lever today and that seemed to work pretty well i managed to take an inch of the throw away so for a free mod its a good idea. may get that cheap ebay one then to see what its like cheers for the clear advice

    the only thats defferent on the mk1's and mk2's is the facelift and the engine by a couple of ponys and the speedos other than that totally identical

    and 3 stud struts to 4 stud. and some of the interior designs and im sure there will be plenty more small differences

    yea but main chassis components are the same u can switch the interior but like main stuctural parts are the same

    Only on the very early base models.
    Mk1 1.4's and vt's are all 4 stud also.
