Saxo Gearbox

   Just wondering if on a saxo gearbox the clutch runs on a cable and the speedo runs on a electronic cable?
   
   Just in needing one for a 306 and if its the same I can pick one up cheaper for a saxo.

   cable clutch and electronic speedo on saxos, early 106's had cable drive speedo

   Thanks, do you know if the 306's and saxo share the same gearbox, so the saxo one will fit the 306?

   I only know about some one fitting a 6 speed 306 to a saxo. I'm not to sure on the 5 speed? Try a google search or use the search bar on here. May even try 106 owners club

   Just been told that as long as there the same gear box. Ie 'ma' box changed with another everything should be good. It may even be better as it would of been upgraded due to the 306 being a little heavyer
