Possible connector missing?

These two are laid bare. I mean I've checked the wiring diagrams for my 1.1 97. It only shows the wire goes into the fuel system, which could explain why the car isn't starting. Is there a plug missing?

I can do yes, but to describe it is just next to the passenger side suspension strut, and the fuse box. Back in one sec with the picture though.

Cheers mate, so they do go into it then?

Here's the slightly zoomed out photo. I have also just found out the fuel is not coming to and from the single point injector (carberetor) which may be a problem as well.

Yep thanks, that seems to be working. The car isn't starting, but the fuel pump is now priming upon ignition, which it wasn't. Now for the actual starting it sounds like it wants to, just it's not picking up, so possibly HT leads are in the wrong order.

    Cheers for the help though!

That and the leads were in the wrong order! Got it going! YES! Thank you thank you thank you!

I have just noticed though that the exhaust manifold is blowing out a fair bit of smoke. Nothing a new down pipe or gasket wouldn't fix??
