not really sure what youre asking? mk2 cat on what? which filter?

He means a standard mk2 mani with built in cat on to his engine with the mk1 oil filter set up IIRC he wants to fit the OEM mani for mot time but doesn't know if it'll fit as he's done the mk1 filter conversion for his 421

it wont fit on a mk 2 vtr- i done the mk 1 manifold conversion once. i put it all back to standard to sell the car. ive now got a de cat manifold to fit but i will be getting an undercar cat for the mot.

ah if its for mot its much easier to stick a cat under the car.

If its only for the mot just take the full oil filter of and put a bolt in there , alot of older cars didnt ever use a oil filter
