power help

Is there any way of getting more power out of a 1.1
  2. #2
    not really
  3. #3
Depends on why you want the power from it and what your budget is. An engine is an engine you can always withdraw more power from it in standard form.

More or less to stop me bogging out on Hills and to have alittle more power than a standard 1.1
  5. #5
Well if thats the case then just throw another engine in.

as above, drop a vtr/s lump in

I would love to do that
I can get a vts engine gearbox unlocked and loom for £150
Only problem is I just passed my test 2 weeks on Wednesday and my insurance is already killing me

Get a few years experience and no claims under your belt and put some money aside at the same time.

The most cost effective way is you either put a bigger engine in or sell it and get a VTR/VTS.

Induction kit or exhaust is going to give so little gains it won't be worthit.

Straight though de-cat and induction kit with a re-tuned air fuel mixture had give me noticeable gains tbh
