    right im buying an exhaust soon as before i spend my wages. what exhaust system best is there much of a difference in noise and performance between magnex and saxport

    im running a pugsport on my vtr, sounds nice but doesnt really look great as the backbox is the wrong shape... exhausts are just personal prev i think... i used to use powerflow alot as the sound and look great and are custom made to each car while you wait...

    Why not go for something a little different?
    Can't help but notice around my area, most saxos sound pretty much the same.
    I've got a race land manifold, sports cat, no silencers and a mini cooper back box, sounds like nothing I've heard before!

    does the cooper backbox sit and fit ok?

    Straight from the cooper, no.
    You will need to weld the hangers on in a different place and also change the way it's mounted to the centre section.
    Sounds awesome though.

    bit like the pugsport i geuss, needs some modding! im going to get a mani and then look at rest of exhaust, thinking raceland is a good way to go... problem is when mot is due as theres no manicat in the raceland is there?

    If you want to keep a cat on there you can. As said, I've had a sports cat put underneath the car so I dont have to faff around at MOT time.
